Social Media Manager

Stockholm
Application deadline: 2026-05-23

Job Description

Vogue, the world’s most prestigious magazine, launched in the Nordics for the first time in 2021. Under the name Vogue Scandinavia, the publication showcases the best of conscious fashion, design, and culture from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland.

We are now looking for a Social Media Manager to lead and evolve our social presence. As a central role within the organisation, you will work closely with the commercial, editorial, and marketing teams, shaping how Vogue Scandinavia shows up across platforms — both from a brand and commercial perspective.

Based at our centrally located Stockholm headquarters, this full-time role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and plays a key role in driving audience growth, engagement, and revenue across Vogue Scandinavia’s social platforms.

How you make an impact

  • Lead the strategy, execution, and growth of Vogue Scandinavia’s social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter)
  • Create and oversee content tailored to each platform, with a strong focus on performance and brand positioning
  • Drive commercial impact by developing and executing social strategies that support partnerships, subscriptions, and revenue growth
  • Contribute creative concepts for campaigns, launches, and branded collaborations
  • Engage and grow our communities with a strong understanding of audience behaviour and platform dynamics
  • Collaborate closely with editorial, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure alignment on content and goals
  • Liaise with talent, management teams, partners, and external stakeholders to coordinate posts and campaigns
  • Own KPIs and reporting across all channels, translating insights into clear actions and continuous improvement
  • Align with the global Condé Nast network of social media managers and consultants to identify opportunities and ensure consistency
  • Operate in a high-paced environment, managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously with structure and clarity

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant social media experience, preferably within a digital publication or editorial environment
  • Strong understanding of all major social platforms and their evolving dynamics
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment
  • Proven ability to create engaging, high-performing content, including video and visual storytelling
  • Strong English copywriting skills, with the ability to craft compelling captions, texts, and headlines
  • Experience in community management and audience development
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making and optimisation
  • Ability to manage a high-paced workflow, including scheduling and ad hoc event coverage
  • Naturally at the forefront of trends, platforms, and new ways of working
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal

What you bring

You are highly driven, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. You combine creativity with a strong commercial mindset and have a natural ability to turn ideas into execution. You bring energy to your work, take initiative, and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

You are both detail-oriented and strategic, with the ability to see the bigger picture while managing day-to-day execution. You thrive when given ownership and are motivated by delivering measurable results.

At Vogue Scandinavia, diversity and inclusion are fundamental. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply and realise their full potential as part of our team.

What we offer

  • A key role within an ambitious and fast-growing brand
  • The opportunity to shape and grow one of the world’s most iconic media brands in the Nordics
  • A dynamic environment where creativity, pace, and impact go hand in hand

A collaborative team with high ambitions and strong creative energy
