Vogue Scandinavia launched in 2021, covering the best of fashion, beauty, interior, and culture across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland.
We are now looking for a talented Graphic & Layout Designer to join our team in Stockholm. This is a hands-on creative role combining print layout, digital design, and graphic production across Vogue Scandinavia's editorial, marketing, and commercial platforms.
Working closely with our Editor-in-Chief and the editorial, fashion, marketing, and commercial teams, you will create high-quality designs that reflect Vogue Scandinavia's visual identity and creative standards.
This full-time role is based at our centrally-positioned Stockholm headquarters.
How You Make an Impact
Print layout and production
- Collaborate directly with the Editor-in-Chief to realise and execute editorial spreads, feature articles, and magazine packaging.
- Prepare print-ready files to the printer's specifications and deliver each of our six issues a year on time.
- If needed, supervise production on location at our print house in Vimmerby for every issue
Digital Translation & Adaptation
- Adapt print stories into high-engagement digital formats and help visualise standalone digital stories
- Design newsletter layouts and social media assets, including Instagram carousels and stories
- Create visuals for the website, our storefront, marketing campaigns, and events
Commercial Partnerships
- Design native advertising layouts, sponsored content spreads, digital display ads, and marketing media kits, ensuring our commercial needs seamlessly align with the Vogue aesthetic.
Asset, Sourcing & Supplier Coordination:
- Coordinate with photographers, illustrators, and other suppliers on commissions, delivery, retouching, and asset management
- Source high-quality imagery when a story needs it
- Share final artwork and PDFs with contributors once production is complete
Standards and ownership
- Keep all work in line with Vogue Scandinavia's brand guidelines, creative direction, and Condé Nast standards
- Manage your own assignments and deadlines, and bring ideas and creative solutions
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience of 3–5+ years in a hybrid design role spanning print layout and digital graphic production (editorial or agency experience is highly valued)
- Expert command of Adobe InDesign, including complex grid systems, typography, and print pagination
- Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for photo editing, digital assets, and social media design
- Understanding of print and digital formats, and how to produce for each
- A portfolio showing elegant multi-page print layouts and punchy, modern digital graphics
- Proven experience in commercial design
- Sharp attention to detail, with the eye to catch formatting issues before they reach print or inboxes
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple overlapping deadlines
- Comfortable working within brand guidelines and incorporating creative feedback
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach, whether working independently or as part of a team
- Fluent English, and an interest in fashion, beauty, design, and culture
A plus
- Experience in magazine publishing, fashion, or premium lifestyle brands
- Figma or Canva for quick social templates
